            Assistant Manager Trainee                                  

The purpose of the training program is to prepare the trainee to be a qualified manager.  The new trainee's selling skills, customer relations, and product knowledge are immediately developed.  Management skills are another important part of the training program, and are emphasized in the latter part of the training.

The training period usually lasts between 12 and 18 months.  The learning pace of the trainee helps determine the length of the training program.  Trainees generally work at a guaranteed hourly rate plus commission and earnings will vary according to the volume of the store and the location.

When a trainee successfully completes the training program, promotion to management makes earning opportunities increase significantly.  Managers - who professionally serve and sell the public are the key to Tradehome success!  Tradehome managers are among the highest paid professionals in the shoe industry.
